Women's Professional Soccer

Ok, the goals have been tallied, the titles have been given, and the honeymoon season is officially over.
So now everyone is asking themselves...
Now what?
Where does the WPS stand? Is it stronger than the WUSA program? Will it be back? Was it successful? What does the future hold of the program?
If it continues to grow...what cities would you like to see a WPS team added to their sports section?
Ready...set...discuss!

What the WPS need are Big Time Players who can score goals and defend well consistently. The game is about speed ,
skills and consistency. The big time sponsers will apporach the WPS when these gaps are filled by the WPS and the
fans will also come to the games more often . The sponsors are really looking for fans to sell their products to.I live in Georgia and I know of several players around where the Beat will be playing that would be a great fit for their program
People in the community know of these players and have been waiting for their return

Granted, WPS does have one large sponser, that being Puma. Obviously Adidas goes over to MLS and such. I agree, more major sponsers need to be landed. Any ideas on those who might be remotely interested? Remember, this time in our economy many businesses do not want the risk if it isn't an assured profit of the sorts.

How long WPS can survive, we are not sure, but I guess right now, WPS should look for more and big time sponsor.
Professional sports need a big time sponsor.
Can't wait for the WPS 2010 season.
