Get fired up, Freedom fans!

I'm bringing my two sons with me to the playoff game vs. Sky Blue this weekend. FAN ALERT: We plan on getting rabid. I'm talking Bundesliga rabid. I'm talking English Premier League rabid. This is a playoff game, people, and it's time to start showing that Freedom fans have pulse stronger than the one at the local funeral home. What totally annoys me about the local media is the fact that we have a professional sports team in its inaugural season in the playoffs and the papers aren't doing anything - ANYTHING - to start building the hype that would automatically go to Redskins, Wizards, Caps, etc. Get on your horse and come home hoarse. And please, don't try to give me that "cell phone in a movie theater" look if I happen to be supporting the Freedom a little too loudly for you. If that's your attitude, watch it on TV. As John Belushi said in "Animal House," "What's this lyin' around ****??!!??...Who's with me? Let's go! HEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYY!!!"

Permalink Reply by Supermokh on August 10, 2009 at 2:44pm: Hi Jerry, I'm with you, (look for me when ever you hear a cowbell noise - I'm in section somewhere section 116 or 117 (last home game - Sat 8/8 - on the walk way) - totally agree, what you have said.
Every Freedom home game, I'm the one who started chanting, (lately I got the cowbell) & clapping "Let's go Freedom".
But some peoples (fans or what ever you call it) look and share at me (with eye-ball almost poping out), like "Can you not scream, clapping & chanting, so loud?"
Come on, Freedom fans, as a Freedom fans we got to do something (make somes noise, let the visiting team knows, they are in the wrong house!), like the last Freedom home game on Sat 8/8, when I hear the Sky Blue fans start drumming, clapping & chanting for their team, NOT IN OUR HOUSE, me and my friends we start chanting "LET'S GO FREEDOM!!!"
Hi Jerry, how about, start doing the WAVE?, how about that?

Freedom fans, wear blue, this Saturday 8/15 - (1st play-off at Maryland Soccerplex) for our Washington Freedom Home color (with or without Washington Freedom words or logos - Red is exceptional b'cause red is also Freedom color, but away jersey) and don't forget to bring along, anythings (horns, drums, cowbells) that can produce some noise for our guest Sky Blue & their fans as part of our welcoming for them.
