Women's Professional Soccer

I think I've seen people talking about this topic before but I don't know where or when.
Oh well.

Question:

Who do you think will break Mia Hamm's goal scoring record first?

The reason why I say first is because I can probably think of a few people who are going to eventually surpass it sooner or later.

Such as maybe Marta, Birgit Prinz, and Christine Sinclair. Possibly Wambach? I'm not sure.

Birgit Prinz, because she has 125 something goals, she's the closest to the record and still playing for her National Team, because if we weren't counting that, it'd be Kristine Lilly. Only factor of her not breaking it is her age, she's 32.

Christine Sinclair, if Sinclair had 125 goals I'd say she would break it first but seeing that she is 25 goals behind Prinz, and if Prinz doesn't retire, I'd put Sinclair second. Sinclair has 99 international goals at 26 years old, I'd say that's pretty good.

Marta, well, Marta is Marta.

Abby Wambach, 29 years old with 101 international goals to her name. I think of her breaking the record depends on when she'll retire and how many games the U.S. WNT will play, and I think that will decrease now with the WPS league.

Who's your pick?

P.S. Does Han Duan have 100 international goals? I don't remember where I have seen this but I have, and if she does, then maybe she should be on the list?

P.S.S. I think Julie Fleeting has 103 international goals for Scotland, but I don't know much about her.

Julie Fleeting does not play much for Scotland and Arsenal these day because of injury.
I would say Brigit Prinz, but hope for Freedom Abby Wombat (Wambach) could get closer to Mia's goal scoring record.

That's too bad about Fleeting, seems like a world class player with 103 international goals and all.

Not that she isn't a great player, but Fleeting's numbers are padded by results against very weak teams - Scotland once beat the Isle of Man, 27-0, and Julie scored 16 times.

Has Prinz said anything about how long she expects to continue playing? I don't want to sound petty (but here goes): It would suck if she were the one who broke it.

Wow, that's a lot of goals scored by one person in a single game.

Don't like Prinz? lol.
I was thinking about how it would be unreasonable for her to retire before the World Cup of 2011 because it is in Germany and I'm sure there's a lot of pride in that, unless it's because of injury or some sort.
I expect her to retire right after the World Cup of 2011.
