My WPS All-Star: If you could ask just one question...

The WPS All-Stars are coming to St. Louis in less than a week!

You've read the newspaper stories all season, tuned into the post-game interviews, followed along with your favorite blogger or tweeter... but now it's your turn.

We want to know:
If you could ask your favorite WPS All-Star anything in the world, who would you select and what would you ask?

WPS will be featuring an online interview that will broadcast LIVE! from The Anheuser-Busch Soccer Park on Saturday afternoon at 2:15pm ET / 1:15pm CT, right before the players start their training session. If your question is selected, both your name and question will be read aloud and asked directly to your WPS All-Star on Saturday, August 29, 2009 - one day before the WPS All-Star Game presented by Coast Guard.

How to post your question:

1) Post a Comment to this page
2) Add them to the comments section on the My WPS All-Star Profile
3) Tweet them @womensprosoccer using the #wpsallstar hashtag
4) Post them to the WPS Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/womensprosoccer

Then tune-in on Sat. at 2:15pm ET / 1:15pm CT to see if your question made the cut.

I would ask Abby Wambach what she thinks would have happened if she hadn't broken her leg before Beijing; as in would USA have won gold, would she have gotten her 100th goal, or something along those lines.
i would ask Lori Chalupny what her favorite moment playing in the WPS was and which position is her favorite since she plays many different ones. also id ask how her broken hand from hitting HAO's abs is doing. lol
I would ask any of the All-Stars what they think about the playoff format. There has been a lot of discussion among fans about the format, with many of them not liking the format. It would be interesting to get their thoughts on the format of the playoff system and whether the WPS should be following the traditional European format versus the standard American format.
For all the players I would ask, Do you have any pregame rituals? and if you do what is it?
It seems like fans and experts placed high expectations on the college seniors drafted into the WPS. A-Rod's struggles, for example, were well-chronicled, and Hermann winner Kerri Hanks had a hard time settling into her role at the beginning. With this in mind, I'd ask Megan Rapinoe if she felt pressure as a first round draft pick out of college, and also how the transition from college to professional ball was for her. Did she feel like she played up to her own personal expectations?

(sorry, longwinded...)

And since LePeilbet and Rapinoe have such similar haircuts, I'd ask them who they think wears it better! haha
This just in from Twitter: Maggie1Keeper @womensprosoccer Karina LeBlanc - How does it feel to be a role model and idol for young goalkeepers all across the country? #wpsallstar
I would ask Megan Rapinoe what her favorite and least favorite training drills are that she did this season with the Red Stars.
My question is for Abby Wambach (because she stays so fit):

What daily nutritional goals do you have - any tricks for quick recovery?
I find Kristine Lilly to be very inspiring and I would ask her how she has been able to maintain her level of play and fitness so soon after having a child, and still be one of, if not the fittest players in the league, AND be an All-Star despite competing with players, many of whom are much younger than her and in the prime of their careers? What sort of exercises or routines does she do to keep herself at that level? Also, I would like to know how she is able to balance motherhood while playing on the team and being on the road?
I want to know if scoring is going to go up next season? If so why?
HOPE SOLO

I would ask solo What is the most difficult game you have played?

and do u know that u have a big fans in middle East Supporting
You ? ,, Luv U Solo <333333
I would ask Christie Rampone how she could handle being a mother (of a very adorable but very energetic almost 4 year old)/WNT player/WNT captain/SBFC player/SBFC captain/SBFC coach (the third in 1 season) all while expecting another child. When she grows up, Rylie needs to know that not only was her mother a literal soccer mom, but she is also the super soccer mom.
