Anyone going to the very big Stanford- Santa Clara women's college game Thursday, Oct 1, 7:00 pm at Santa Clara? Stanford is either #1 or #2 depending on which poll you look at (go to http://www.gostanford.com/sports/w-soccer/stan-w-soccer-body.html.com for details), and Santa Clara is always one of the best teams in the country, and of course Brandi's old team. They play same place as the Gold Pride play, the Santa Clara college stadium, so finding the place shouldn't be hard... Stanford also plays St. Mary's this Sat 9/26 out in Morago, I think at 1:00 pm.

Anyone up for watching the game? Scouting future players for GP/National team?

It's sad to see a poor coach make a good team look bad. I hope the owners will see these posts and consider getting a new coach for next season. I'm a season ticket holder to show my support for the league, but I don't know how many times I'm going to drive 6 hrs each game to see great players sitting on the bench. Montoya should remove himself from the team if he had any respect for the women on the team; he sucks.

I think the coach is a dud, too, but I'm sure not going to let that stop me from coming out to all the games to support the team. Speaking of which, is the supporter group in 109 still happening? I sat in the "Gold" section for most of last season, and the fans there might as well have been doing their taxes for as much enthusiasm as they usually displayed. I need to get in with the real supporters next year. Is the 109 Casbah section behind the goal the place to be? I still need to buy my season tix. Thanks! GO PRIDE!

It sad, but I know that she will be ok .. I hope that another teams gets her... If not, im sure she will still have lots of game in Santos and the National team.. She dosent need to waste her min in the bench... specially with this a..... of coach.. Hope the owners realize is not the players but that wanna be coach..I will ONLY go to the games, to see the opponents, not Pride no more... and is only becuase of one player.. is allll the players and what he wants to do.. which he dosent have an idea... So sad.. But LETS move on, and support the girls where ever they are.... who needs Montoya...

I know Erika is having fun once again playing for Santos. I don't think the Pride will have any Brasilians this coming season.....maybe Nene but it wouldn't surprise me if they all don't come back.....you know what I mean.....

International draft today... Best wishes to Erika, Forminga, Nene and Sissi... Im jsut glad that Erika is playing in her hometown, with Mart and Cristiane ohhh and Fran.. What a great team FC Santos is....wish they had the same opportinity here in fc gold pride... Will see what news the lovely coach has...

So who IS protected? 42-year old Brandi Chastain? This team has become a joke, and I blame the owners. The Pride released a press release saying Eriko was finishing out her Pride contract with her old Japan League team, like they were doing her a favor. Maybe they are, since she has been sitting on the bench with all the other internationals. Get rid of Montoya and put Chastain or Sisi as head coach. And go from there.
