PMD; SBFC gets that for team, it was great at the begining of the season then they decided to make it so only certain people could...you can proble guess where I was in that group

Hope Solo is not only clueless, she has no class. With a league in its infancy, ALL of the players should be working hard to engender support from their fans—not shunning them. It seems to me that all of the Pride players have made an effort to spend time with their fans and acknowledge their support, as have most of the visiting players. Despite her talent on the pitch, Solo gets my vote for WPS loser of the year.

Hope was spotted yesterday after the game at Aqui Cal Mex Grill. Maybe she was SUPER hungry and had to run to get her food before the team flew back to St. Louis. :P

Why is anyone surprised with Hope Solo's cluelessness? Her disrespectful, self-centered, and immature reaction to being benched at the last World Cup should give everyone insight into her personality and motivations. Granted, that was a poor decision by the coach, she is one of the best keepers in the world. However, her actions wreaked havoc in the team on the eve of a World Cup final - not the actions of a leader... not the actions of someone who can be counted on... not the actions of someone who puts the team before her own self interest... not someone who should be considered an ambassador for her sport. I absolutely respect her quality on the pitch, but I do not respect her as a person.

Hope slipped out/off the field in street clothes?? This was the second time I waited at the alley to mention my support for her over the Greg Ryan disaster but Hope was a no show both times. As we were leaving we saw her exiting "the field" in jeans & T-shirt....? (wtf ~ no shower... yikes) A few folks did get her to sign stuff as she continued to walk....? Maybe there was more to Ryan's decision then we may ever know. It seems pretty clear she has bit of an ego and just might be living in a me - me, I - I world.
I hope the Pride post the nine players they intend to protect soon. Sadly, Montoya speaks as if he is returning. As for season tickets next year ~ I'm "All In" when he's all gone. I have joked with a few of the players during my alley visits about the coach and they never stick up for him...??
These last few home games have been freak'n awesome and just go's to show how good this team is. Shut out LA, beat Boston and owned St. Louis.
Ashley, I would have to add Graczyk, Osborne, Dew, Yokers, and Abegg to the list of "good to the fans". They have always been very nice and have been to every alley session we have been to. Really, that go's for most of the Pride.

Yeah Cameron, it seems like Hope Solo is very unfriendly or clueless, or both, when it comes to the fans. In her profile on the St. Louis website she describes her perfect day off as "having no interviews or signings to do" and I've seen at least one other on this board who said she was pretty stand-offish to the fans at a game. If so, she needs to get a clue, at the moment she is one of the most recognizable US womens players and needs to be more appreciative. At the same time, I have heard many times over that Chastain, Milbrett and Rapinoe are always good to fans no matter what, and good for them, that's what it is about.

No Hope Solo at any of the autograph sessions the season...
Apparently she can't spare 15-20 minutes of her busy schedule.
Way to fail at representing the WNT.
Pathetic.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

My daughter and I are from Sacramento and still made it to 5 of the games this year.
So we are very appreciative to the Pride staff and players who make it worth our while to make the trip.
A special thanks to the players who spent their time consistently signing autographs (eg. B. Chastain, L. Osborne, "Milly" and other team players like S. Boxx, M. Rampinoe who always went the extra mile with their youth fans.
That extra 20 minutes at the autograph session goes a long way for your youth fans who travel out of town to support you.

Being her grandmother, I'd like to see Gold Pride protect Greer Barnes. She thinks it's a good team too.

The Pride. The team is very talented just
Needs a new coach. From what I have heard
9 players will be protected from the expansion
Draft. Who do you think they should protect?

EZ there Holly ~ eez does it.... ; ) I too was a little bothered by their post but what the heck, I would be flaunting IT if it were the Pride sitting on top of the latter. To help ease the sadness of the season's end I put my two youngest into the Game Day Camp. Even though we're sitting on the bottom of this latter, I LOVE OUR TEAM!!
