I second that Carmen...over here in the UK we still love her and miss her at Arsenal Ladies (and Alex n Karen) . Kelly will always be our Golden Girl....

Hello Fans! I think ist is absolutely right that Kelly Smith has been voted player of the month. Unfortunately I can only see the highlights of every match at the wps- homepage but what i have seen was all outstanding performances from her. Also I saw Marta at the Friendly match from Brasil national team here in Germany against our German Girls and her performance was not mentionable- especially because of the fact that the german girls were playing very excellent that night and she got frustrated and started to play more like american football or rugby than playing soccer. So thanks to all the voters and fans of Kelly Smith and Congratulations to her!!

Kelly Smith wins Player of the Month. Way to go Breakers fans!!!
She was outstanding in the 3 matches she's played so far, so she rightfully deserves it. Congratulations Kelly.

Hey all you Breaker fans. Marta has edged Kelly Smith in the voting for player of the month. I was at the match when Marta put two goals in against Sky Blue and I can tell you that I don't think the performance was worthy of "Player of the Month" accolades. Sky Blue was really struggeling to connect with each other. The players were clearly not on the same page and I can't help but think this made it all the easier for Marta.

Now Kelly Smith on the other hand has been rock solid for Boston. So much so that they couldn't win (or draw) this past weekend without her. I think Kelly Smith deserves "Player of the Month." If you agree, please go to the blog section and vote for her.

Hey Ian,

At this point in time Internet explorer is still in the developmental stage. They are having problems with it. I downloaded it and couldn't open alot of things on the internet. Then I found out that Microsoft released it so that people can sort of test it out for them. What I did was to go back, uninstall it and then install Internet Explorer 7.0. If you go to your control panel and add/delete programs then you can delete 8.0 and then search for "Internet Explorer 7.0 download" and you should get to the place in the Microsoft site where you can download 7.0. Sorry to hear you couldn't see the game, but probably good that you didn't. Kaz had a great game, but the Breakers looked completely out of sorts. It was nice that Chicago had the streaming video. I wish more teams would do that.

Absolutely gutted!! Stayed up until 1.30AM here in UK to watch the game streamed on the website. Clicked on and was told sorry you need Internet explorer 5+ to view..uhhh! Ive got internet explorer 8.0 how much more 5+ can you get!? Therefore couldnt watch the game..even my free streaming site wasnt showing the game..I know this is slightly out of context to this site but why isnt internet 8.0 good enough? Looks like I missed a game and a half.

I watched the game on the webcast and I have to tell you it was heartbreaking. They were outplayed. It was probably smart of Tony DiCicco to keep Kelly Smith on the bench rather than have her play 3 games in 7 days, but they really can't play without her. It's sad to see. Since Chicago has been having trouble scoring, they were a team on a mission. Boston needs to find another great midfielder whho can spread the ball around in Kelly's place for times when she's out of the lineup. I really hope they can get back on track before their next game.

Chicago 4, Boston 0 -- It sounds like we were thoroughly outplayed. Did anyone in the group attend the game? I hope we carry some motivation into the next match.
