Forwards are at a premium and if anything they will trade her after the expansion draft. It looks like they will protect her.

Way to go Coach and Marta on your awards. Miyama deserves one also for being the assist leader. What an unselfish player.

This is not a WPS issue they are guided by the rules of FIFA (World soccer) and they must follow these rules. There are certain International play days during the year where club teams HAVE to release players for International play whether it is a friendly or Championship.

As fans of soccer in the US we all have to come to the realization that US soccer leagues play by their own rules when it comes to international play. While other leagues respect FIFA international play dates MLS and now WPS do not. That is why as fans of US teams you will always have to deal with players missing games, and not just foreign players. US National team players will miss games, like they did this year in WPS for "friendlies". Prepare yourself now for World Cup Qualifying, if WPS does not make changes now the league will be stripped of it's talent for several games.

I am also a season ticket holder that was at all of the home games and watched every televised games, plus followed non televised away games on twitter/match tracker. I don't like the fact the Camille was not in the finals, or Bompastor, Smith, Aluko, etc... were not in the playoffs , but we need to put the blame where it lies, not with the players but with WPS.

hey Bruce thats for the heads up. I am aware of the coaches desision and why Camille was not playing. My point that i was trying to get across was that we got a preview of what it was going to be like without her. The Sol goals took a huge dip in gols being scored during those weeks, and the connections were not there. I dont feel that most of the comments are too throw players under the bus or too place blame on them. We are true fans who spent the season at the Home Depot Center, and watching ever game that was on tv. We all seen the sames things going on with certain players, and we as Sol fans have paid attetion to what was being placed on the pitch week after week. I dont feel that we are turning our backs on these players but were are sending a message to them that we care what goes on with the team.

I think that's why St. Louis did not make it to the final as well, they were without their top scorer, Aluko--who was at the Euros. Well, that and the fact that God hates them.
