There's no doubt that Duan had trouble during the season, that perhaps she did not mix well with the attacking style of Marta.

Plus, you have only to listen to the final match and hear the commentators go on and on about Duan's inability to live up to the hype.

But what about Abily? How come nobody questions the fact that our team's second leading scorer was not available to play on the most important game of the season.

Sure, I can understand national pride and playing for your country, am certain Becks would rather play in a cup qualifier than the mls final, if you ask me, players have just too much flexibility, and i get it, while it is great for them, at the end it can be detrimental to their league team. Then again, that's a sacrifice every team must make if they want to continue the influx of foreign players, which i think every league needs.

There have been questions about Duan's finishing ability since about week 4 of the regular season. I agree, bashing is totally not cool, but it seems like the (Sol fans)group consensus re: Duan is that she might better serve another team. She just never really clicked for us this season. She has always looked amazing on the Chinese NT but sometimes players just need to move to another team find the right setup/vibe/mentality/whatever.

Come on now, let us not be sore losers, don't start bashing players and putting the blame on them. Like 'duan' suddenly sucks, where were those comments during the season? If you are gonna be upset at a player, then make the player accountable for putting herself in a position where she got herself red-carded.

Louis, Abner did not "stop playing Camille" for the past couple of weeks. She is with her national team at the European Championships.

If we keep the same core group, we are most likely going to the playoffs next year. Therefore, I am starting a fundraiser . . . refs aren't cheap. =)

Almost as bad as the red card was the fact that they did not have KETTLE CORN at the game on saturday. WTF?
