The Los Angeles Limited. I always like team names that have a connection to the city where they play. I posted my suggestion in reply to the discussion forum "Team name for LA" above. Based on the legendary passenger line, there are color scheme, logo and mascot suggestions.

Naming the team? I just left a very long version of this on the "Team name for LA" discussion group above but here is the abreviated version for my thoughts on names:

Golden Angeles WFC (Women's Football Club)(California the GOLDEN State and Los Angels is the City of ANGELS)
Angels of LA WFC Or LA Angels WFC
Los Angeles WFC
Olympians WFC (Los Angeles held Olympics in 1932 and 1984)
Internationals WFC or International Stars WFC ( Los Angeles is a melting pot)
Birds of Paradise WFC (the Los Angeles Flower is Birds of Paradise)
Trail Blazers WFC (a slight reference to how far women have come politically)
The Aztecs WFC (homage to the men's Aztecs in the 70's)
Chumash WFC (one of the original settlers of California the Chumash Indians)
Revolution WFC or Susan's Army WFC
Winfrey Kickers WFC, or Oprah's Golden Girls WFC
Lindy Fliers WFC or just: Fliers WFC

Now there is a little food for thought.

Hello Angelino's-
The WPS is here. I can not wait for the new team to start up. Now would be a great time to get this ball rolling in the right direction. Tell me what you think About:
Who should Coach?
What would you like the name to be?
What colors would you like to see?
What are your thoughts on support groups?
and last but not least
Who would you like to see as players?

I am just a fan like yourself and I hope that this league and the fans are around for a very long time.
