I also hope our Athletica did protect Melissa Tancredi. She is one of the best players on our Athletica. Her versatile is very important to our team and there success. Melissa is also one of my favorite players on our Athletica along with Hope Solo.

I have the impression that the international draft will bring new international players into the two expansion teams, not redistribute those already in the WPS.

well we haven't had the international draft yet and i would assume she's international?? isn't she? she's from cananda

Tancredi is versatile, that's a very good trait to have on the team. And none of the expansion teams picked her so Athletica most likely protected her.

My guess is that they protected Woznuk over Cinalli because she has National Team experience.
