I recently put up a new post on the Freedom blog looking for questions from fans to ask our players. I want to break away from the standard interview questions so let me know what you want to know about our players by posting a comment on the blog or sending me a message.

We understand the SoccerPlex can be hard to get to. We are trying to figure something out regarding Metro and such but the big problem is with the recent Federal Law that was passed that prohibits using public transportation as shuttles to venues.

The Post (among others) ran stories on transportation regarding Redskins games at the beginning of the season and with Metro buses no longer available, the cost of hiring shuttles jumped from $6/person to $20. That is a huge cost.

We understand the problem and are working on ways to get around it but chances are we won't have anything for a while. Sorry I can't give you anything more substantial right now.

*In NYC, attendding a convention*

I have a question to Washington Freedom, Maryland Soccerplex at Germantown is home venue for all Le Blue Ladies (Washington Freedom) home game.
I hate driving, esp in DC. I rather take a subway metro or metro bus or even the city circulator.
Question is how will some fans (like me), who would rather commute with metro system, who want to see The Washington Freedom action at home, to go to MD Soccerplex?

GO FREEDOM, LE BLUE LADIES ROCK N RULE!!!

I will support Washington for sure...I would follow Abby anywhere...can't wait for the Phily team, and hope that there will be some changes in players at that time.
Oh come!,
why Phily?
Just stick with one team, that is Washington Freedom.

I, once a football (soccer) player myself,
football have always be my top agenda, in my daily life style.
I watch EPL, Bundesliga, Seria A, and also others Internationally pro league, but I strongly, supports womens sports too, esp Football (soccer), either watching on TV or live at the stadium.
Washington Freedom Football (Soccer) Club (aka Le Blue Ladies) is always be my #1 priority, I've been, a die-hard fan of Le Blue Ladies, ever since WUSA Pro League started in 2001, I'm lucky enough to live in DC area.
During the WUSA league seasons from 2001 thru 2003, every summer weekends afternoon, when there's a home game at RFK Stadium (Home of the Football (Soccer) Champion @ DC United [MLS] & Washington freedom [WUSA]), I will take a metro to RFK, just to watch my belove team Le Blue Ladies, play and kick the hell out of name it :- Atlanta Beat?, Philedelphia Charges?, San Jose CyberRay?, Carolina Courage? San Diego Sprit?,New York Power? or Boston Breakers? every one of teams mention, get the hell of whooppin' *** when those team visit RFK.
My concern is, #1 - with the new WPS League, (says to be started in summer 2009), is can:- Washington Freedom make a strong case in allocate Abby Wambach back to the team? (one, have to remember that, Washington Freedom (Le Blue Ladies) make what's Abby is today. Here where she's belong, with Le Blue Ladies!. Washingtonian always welcome Abby back home!.
(We, Washingtonian also gladly welcome back Legendery MIA HAMM with open-arm, IF, Mia Hamm decide to come out of retirement and play only in professional football)
#2 Home game - Can Washington Freedom Organization maintain RFK Stadium as Home field?
My case is:- Maryland Sportplex is beautiful, up north of DC, (been there, couple of time) but, there is NO shuttle or connector service from Shady Grove Metro to MD Sportplex in Germantown,MD, whereas, RFK Stadium is just round the corner of (Closes is) Stadium-Armory station, Potomac Ave station or Eastern Market station, unless, there's a shuttle or connector services during the game day at MD Sportplex, or else Washington Freedom will lose some of die-hard fan, if MD Sportplex host as the Home field. That's concern some of Le Blue Ladies die-hard fans.
Let's Go Freedom, Let's Go!!! Freedom Rock N Rule!!!
GO Le Blue Ladies!!! U Rock N Rule!!!
Once a Le Blue Ladies suporter, always a Le Blue Ladies supporter!!!
