Hi
Erica I am Mike Beckmann 35 from St. Louis, Missouri. I am a fan of our hometown St. Louis Athletica but I am also a fan of Heather Mitts of your team. I think she is so Sexy and Athletic. Finally please tell Heather hi from me and that I wish I could meet her someday as well.
Wow, what a tournament! Pia Sundhage was rock-solid throughout (unflappable after the Norway loss: "I'd rather lose the first game than the last game"), the team played better and better, and all the pieces fell into place. I'll admit I doubted if we could beat Brazil without Abby. I'm glad I was wrong!
This is an exciting time for women's soccer in the US. I look forward to 2009. Thanks for helping to make it all happen.
I am an Account Executive with the Boston Breakers, responsible for Breakers' Membership and group outing sales in communities in the northern region.
I graduated from Endicott College in Beverly, Mass. in May 2008 with a Sport Management degree. I was an outside midfielder on the Endicott women’s soccer team, winning four conference championships. In my four years, the Gulls made four NCAA appearances and advanced to the “Sweet 16” in 2006. Prior to Endicott I played for Nordic Spirit Soccer Club in Vermont.
