Hey,
Did you make it down for the Freedom / FCGP game? Great first half and glad the team was able to hang on for the W.

Hello Marshman!

Taking a dive.... "Fake" fall's ~ "Pretend" to get knocked down. It's hard to imagine someone as big, strong & great as her could be knocked down so many times and so easily. I know ~ I know, it's part of the game, but after a while it gets comical. She obviously sold it well enough cause she was never called for it. Please, do not take it the wrong way.... this is just my observation & opinion. She is clearly on of the best players in the world and I am just a fan in the stands.... Good day eh!

GO PRIDE!!!

This was on the website front page. She seems to very much on team and ready to play!

For Tina DiMartino, who hopes to make her professional debut this weekend, the trip to New York is also a homecoming. “I’m excited to see my family, go back home, and see the east coast again,” said DiMartino. “I haven’t been there in a long time.” The reigning Pac-10 player of the year has kept busy in recent months helping the US Women to a second place finish at the 2009 Algarve Cup while also completing the fall quarter at UCLA.

This weekend will be the first time she has seen her family in months, and for her family, the first time they will see her compete live as a professional. “All of them will be there,” she announced with a smile. “My sister is home from college for Easter break so it will be all six of them there.”

Friendly faces will be a welcome sight for DiMartino and the rest of the Pride as they enter enemy territory on Saturday Night at TD Bank Ballpark. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. ET/4:45 p.m. PT. Fans can follow FC Gold Pride as they face off with Sky Blue FC on Saturday night live on Twitter.

Dear Marshman,

I will send any info I can find. I volunteer at the games so I can snarf around and get the scoop. Neat she played with your daughter, and neater that your daughter plays for Freedom. Just so I know who I might cheer for (except when playing Pride), what is your daughter's name?

I saw her after the inaugural game on TV, Pride had a viewing party at a local pub with players, staff, and fans. I said hello and introduced myself, but I didn't scan the lineup game day to see if she was in there this Sunday. I enjoyed seeing tapes of her play at UCLA. Big happy smile, very outgoing, nice.
