I know its been a couple of days since my birthday but it really was the best birthday I have ever had. Last Saturday May 23, was my birthday and our game against St. Louis. I was so lucky to play a game on my birthday. My parents, grandparents and best friend surprised me at the game. I was so excited to see them. Sorry I have not written in a while but things have been pretty crazy. The season is going well and we are coming together. We are learning each others strength and weakness and are really learning to play with one another. It is finally starting to click. This week we are playing Jersey for the second time. The night of April 4th was the most surreal night of my life. It was our inaugural game and my professional debut. The game wasn’t until 7 and the day seemed like it lasted forever. After a usual pregame meal and walk through it was finally time to get on the bus and head to the game. I was the first one on the bus with my ipod cranking and ready to go. Sorry I haven't been up to date on my blogs but things have been CRAZY!!!!!! We got back from Florida about a week ago and its been the fastest week ever. Between searching on craigslist for furniture, arranging our apartment and room, finding zipcars, getting to practice fields and still trying to get things to Chicago from home its pretty much been one big blur.

Hi this is Nikki and Chioma. Everyone is enjoying the surprise afternoon off in the sun by the pool except us lucky ones. Chioma and I are both already tan, seeing as I have Polish skin and Chioma is half Nigerian, we figured it would be more beneficial to stay inside and write to you guys.
