More about me

I'm an editor and writer who has followed women's soccer since the 1991 World Cup; after watching the U.S. men's teams' growing pains against the likes of El Salvador and Costa Rica, it was amazing to see a United States team that was the best in the world. I had a midfield seat for the '99 World Cup championship, saw the finals of the '03 Cup at the Home Depot Center, and supported the San Diego Spirit in the WUSA. Having a team closer to home in the WPS has been a real treat!
