Wednesdays With Wilson... June 17

Hey fans and welcome back to Wednesday's with Wilson. Today we have an away game against the Boston Breakers at 4pm PT. If you wanted to follow along, the best way is through twitter. By winning this game we will be in second place behind LA Sol, so show your pride and support and follow along with WPS Matchtracker and Twitter (twitter.com/fcgoldpride), I know that's where I'll be.

Its getting harder and harder to come to the realization that I'm out for the season. However, like I said before, all the support from you guys and friends and family is helping me tremendously through this process. At our last home game against Chicago, I received a homemade get well card from a 7 year old girl who, is indeed, a big fan. I posted the card up in my room so I can see it everyday. I even brought it back to my hometown with me so I could show my family the kind of support I have from everyone. It was the cutest little thing.

I have a little contest for you fans out there. You can win 2 free tickets to our next home game, Sunday, July 5th at 5 pm PT at Buck Shaw Stadium against Saint Louis Athletica by commenting on this post and guessing the score of our Fathers Day game against LA Sol. This game will be televised on FSC (Fox Soccer Channel) so it will be easier for you to follow along and see if you've won. Next Wednesday, I'll pick a winner and inform you when and where you can pick up your two free tickets.
